one-hour special. The documentary traces Sam's life and features testaments to his artistic genius by his friend, former President Carter, and Jeremy Adamson of the Smithsonian Institute as well as highlights of some recent achievements and interviews with his
present-day woodworking shop assistants. The
program also includes footage of Sam with his wife, Alfreda, who was married to Sam for 50 years, and
