Can we go inside the Historic Home without joining a tour?

 

No, unfortunatly we cannot allow anyone inside the historic home that is not on a docent led tour. To sign up for a tour, please visit our Docent Led Tours page.

Are we allowed to bring a picnic & eat on the grounds?

 

Yes, we encourage our guests to bring their lunch and enjoy our beautiful setting.  We have tables and chairs in our courtyard and several benches located throughout the garden.  We also sell drinks, chips and snacks in our Visitor Center.  We do not have any indoor seating.

If you are planning to picnic with a large group, please call in advance so that we reserve tables

Is photography allowed?

 

Photography is not allowed inside the Historic Home or for certain exhibits in the Jacobs Education Center Gallery.  We encourage exterior photography of the Historic Home and of the Maloof Water Wise Discovery Gardens.

Can the grounds be rented out for events?

 

No, we do not rent out the grounds for private parties, weddings, or meetings.

Is the Historic Home wheelchair accessible?
