In this workshop, you will design and create a grouted stained glass art piece from a large selection of colors and shapes. Grouted stained glass is a technique that involves bonding stained (translucent) and mosaic (non translucent) glass to a clear glass substrate. The grout, which is then applied between the glass pieces (negative space), contributes to the overall design.

Instructor
Janet Gruman is a versatile artist who works in stained glass, printmaking, and calligraphy. Guiding students through the creative process in a medium new to them always surprises, pleases, and gratifies her own artistic sensibilities.
