Do you collect a ridiculous amount of cutoffs?  Not sure what to make with all of those beautifully figured, curly, spalted scraps?  Lou Sarg has the class for you!

Lou will guide in creating otherworldly and scenic works of wood art.  In the workshop, you will resaw, plane, and sand wood cutoffs to 3/16" sheets, cut out our mountains with cutoff that have a live edge, use plug cutters or hole cutter for our planets, use a disc sander to round out the planets, square wall hangings, and use a 1/16" drill for pre-drilling pilot holes for earring hardware, pendant hardware,  or wall hanging hardware which will be eye hooks ranging from 7/16" - 1/2".

Tuition includes wood and materials. Drinks and snacks are provided, but please pack a lunch for each day’s 1-hour mid-day meal break, to be enjoyed in The Maloof’s olive tree-shaded courtyard, weather permitting. A truly unforgettable way to learn.

Participants must be 18 years or older
