Beauty and the Beast: California Wildflowers and Climate Change
September 7, 2019 - December 7, 2019

Beauty and the Beast: California Wildflowers and Climate Change brings together breathtaking photography by Rob Badger and Nita Winter, highlighting California’s vibrant wildflowers while confronting the stark realities of climate change. This exhibition, hosted at the Jacobs Education Center Gallery, features iconic photographs such as the "50 Year Bloom" in Gorman and images from Carson Pass in El Dorado National Forest. Arranged through Exhibit Envoy, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the juxtaposition of natural beauty and the environmental threats facing California's landscapes, raising awareness of the fragility of these ecosystems in a changing climate.
