Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Answers to Your Questions About the Maloof Foundation

We understand you might have questions about visiting the Maloof Foundation, participating in our programs, or supporting our mission. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common inquiries we receive. If you don’t see your question here, please contact us directly — we’re happy to help!

  • Can we go inside the Historic Home without joining a tour?
No, unfortunately we cannot allow anyone inside the Historic Home that is not on a Docent Led Tour. To sign up for a tour, please visit our Docent Led Tours page.
  • Do I need to make a reservation or book ahead of time for a tour?
Yes, we strongly suggest that you book your tour in advance! We often sell out and cannot always accomodate walk ups. Also, we do not accept same day reservations online.
  • I made my reservation online...now what do I do?
When you make a reservation online, you will receive 2 confirmation emails. One email from the Maloof Foundation and one email from PayPal. If you do not receive both emails, please contact us to confirm your reservation went through. Once you have received both emails, please confirm that the date and time are correct. If you notice an error, please contact us immediatly as we cannot always get you on a tour if you show up at the wrong time or date. There is no ticket to print out or bring. You can bring the email you receive that shows the time and date of your tour, if you would like. On the day of your tour, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your tour. You will check in at our Visitor Center. To check in all you need is your name, we will verify that we have you on a tour that day and direct you to where you will meet your docent.
  • Are the tours refundable?
Unfortunately, all of our tours are non refundable. However, we would be happy to help you select another date that works for your schedule. Please contact us at 909-980-0412 to discuss your options.
  • Is there parking available?
Yes, we have a small parking lot inside our gate. If that parking lot is full, you can park on the right side of Carnelian St. (along the white fence). Parking is also available on Hidden Farm, however, you will need to enter the property at the Carnelian St. gate. Parking is NOT available on Bella Vista St.
  • Are we allowed to bring a picnic & eat on the grounds?
Yes! We encourage our guests to bring their lunch and enjoy our beautiful setting. We have tables and chairs in our courtyard and several benches located throughout the garden. We also sell drinks, coffee, chips and snacks in our Visitor Center. We do not have any indoor seating. If you plan on bringing a large group to picnic, please call ahead to ensure we can accommodate your party that day. 909-980-0412
  • Is photography allowed?
Photography is NOT allowed inside the Historic Home or for certain exhibit in the Jacobs Education Center Gallery. We encourage amateur exterior photography of the Historic Home and of the Maloof Water Wise Discovery Gardens during public hours on Thursday and Saturday. Professional Photography, group portraits and/or Prom pictures require prior reservations and a donation of $50.00 is suggested. Please contact us at 909-980-0412 for approval and reservations.
  • Is the Historic Home wheelchair accessible?
There is limited first floor access for a wheelchair. Please call us for more information on accessibility. 909-980-0412
  • Can the grounds be rented out for events?
No, we do not rent the grounds out for private parties, weddings or meetings. Professional Photography, group portraits and/or Prom pictures require prior reservations and a donation of $50.00 is suggested. Please contact us at 909-980-0412 for approval and reservations.
  • I"d like to volunteer at the Maloof...who should I contact?
We are always looking for new volunteers to help out in the Visitor Center, lead tours or work in the gardens. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at at 909-980-0412 or by sending an email to info@malooffoundation.org.
