Conceived as part of a year-long celebration of the Maloof Centennial, the exhibition will bring together more than 60 objects including examples of Maloof furniture, drawings, photographs, works of art, documents, video excerpts, ephemera and other items.

Now in its third year, the annual Chaffey Joint Union High School District student art exhibition showcases works by students who have visited the Maloof home and gardens during this academic year and have made paintings, drawings, photographs, and ceramics in response to what they saw.

Desert Design Gallery Talk & Film Screening

Saturday June 15, 3 pm - 5 pm

Designer/Maker John Vugrin

Join us on Saturday, June 15 at 3 p.m. for a gallery talk and film screening with designer John Vugrin, who will discuss his work on the Doolittle House in Joshua Tree. Moderated by Architectural Historian Alan Hess, this event is an exploration of desert design.

The Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation for Arts and Crafts is a member of the Historic Artists' Homes and Studios program (HAHS) of the National Trust for Preservation.  HAHS is a coalition of 30 museums that were homes and working studios of American artists. Come, witness creativity!

The Maloof is a Smoke Free Facility.

Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on the property or in the parking lots.
