California woodworking artist Edwin Malavé II's sculptural work highlights the natural beauty of diverse wood species blending fluid abstract movement with personal narrative. This gathering will include the unveiling of Edwin’s newest sculpture, “In the Eye of the Beholder”, alongside select works from his practice. Edwin’s work has been exhibited in Claremont, Los Angeles, and Pomona and is inspired by artists such as Sam Maloof, George Nakashima, Thaddeus Mosley, M. C. Escher, Haroshi and Nuge.

On Thursday, March 5th, please join us at the Maloof where Edwin will lead a conversation on creativity, perception, and hidden stories. Each of us carries a creative energy within. Come experience Edwin’s and perhaps find yours.
