Join acclaimed artist Cesar Garcia for an inspiring workshop that blends the bold tradition of linocut with the delicate beauty of Chine Collé. In this hands-on session, you'll explore a printmaking process that combines carved linoleum blocks with layered papers to create richly textured and visually dynamic works of art.
Guided by Cesar’s expert instruction, you’ll begin by designing and carving your own linoleum block, learning essential techniques to create strong, expressive images. Once your block is complete, you’ll dive into the Chine Collé method—adhering your print to various colored or textured papers during the printing process to add depth and dimension.
Cesar will provide step-by-step demonstrations and personalized support throughout, making this workshop accessible to both beginners and experienced artists. You'll leave with a set of beautiful, layered prints that showcase your creativity and the exciting possibilities of combining printmaking and collage.
