Designed especially for first-time guests and families, this welcoming 45-minute tour invites visitors into the world of Sam and Alfreda Maloof.
Your tour begins with a peek inside Sam and Alfreda’s historic home, offering a glimpse into their creative partnership and daily life. From there, you will take a look at Sam’s workshop (still in operation) from the outside before enjoying a peaceful stroll through Beverly's Discovery Garden, a living expression of the Maloofs’ harmony with nature. Along the way, you will have a chance to compare the historic home with the later home Sam designed for himself on the new property. Next, step into the Gallery to experience exhibitions that celebrate art, design, and community in another building designed by Sam. The tour concludes in the Wood Barns, where the spirit of craftsmanship continues today.
This tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes stairs and garden paths.
