Memory Mirrors and Fragile Thoughts

Jane Brucker: Memory Mirrors and Fragile Thoughts brings together two of Brucker’s significant works in the Pyramid Room. The three chairs, part of Fragile Thoughts, incorporate painted and fused glass elements that pay tribute to Elizabeth Milbank Anderson, a philanthropist known for her contributions to healthcare, education, women’s rights, and the arts. Accompanying these pieces are Memory Mirrors, part of a site-specific series titled Bouquet, and other objects from the Maloof home, creating a dialogue between memory, legacy, and the domestic sphere. This exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the intersection of personal history and communal space through art.
