Virtual Tour of the Maloof New Home
Explore the New Home from Anywhere
When the historic home was added to the National Registry of Historic Places, it became necessary to move it out of the path of the 210 freeway. As government funds were used for the move, the home became open to the public and a "like" home had to be built for Sam to live in. This gave Sam the opportunity to put all of his inspiration together into a planned expression of his concept for a home. This magnificent structure is the result. The virtual tour allows you to walk through the beautifully preserved spaces that Sam designed.
Sam loved collecting, both the Historic Home and the New Home were filled to overflowing with art and craft. This virtual tour was taken in March of 2023. Sam had passed away leaving only Beverly in the home. Some objects had been removed but the virtual tour looks much as the home looked when Sam was alive.
