Class Description
Come bind your own personal book.Learn the fun and accessible technique of accordion book binding.
In this hands-on class, you will discover how to create a one of a kind book using the accordion book binding method. Once the structure is complete, we will explore creative ways to personalize each book with unique embellishments, vintage ephemera, and found materials.
This format offers a strong foundation in basic bookbinding while giving each student the freedom to express their own style. No prior experience is needed. Everyone will leave with a finished, hand bound book of their own.

Instructor
Chris attended John Herron Art Institute, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati Commercial Art Academy. She studied art in college and under several renowned Southern California artists such as Milford Zornes, Robert George, and Aldo Casanova. She holds a graduate degree in American History and Culture. She is a public speaker on the history of books and on book arts.
As a local artist she was honored to be a part of the Maloof Foundation’s “Thriving Artist Community Exhibit,” Rancho Cucamonga.
