Larry White & Lauren Verdugo: In Conversation

March 14, 2026, 3-5pm

The Maloof Foundation invites you to an afternoon with Larry White and Lauren Verdugo; Saturday, March 14, 2026, 3-5pm. Join us for a dynamic conversation between Larry and Lauren; artists, woodworkers, and friends. Learn more about their long-time collaboration, where their artistic and woodworking practice has taken them today, and what is currently inspiring them.  Both carry on the tradition of Sam Maloof in their excellence in woodworking and commitment to championing other artists and friends.

There is an online auction featuring work by both Larry and Lauren. All proceeds of this auction will benefit Larry’s woodworking program at the Maloof where he is an artist-in-residence.

All proceeds of the silent auction will benefit the Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation for Arts and Crafts woodshop barns and programs, where Larry White is an artist-in-residence and teachings workshops year-around. This auction is the brain-child of Larry who donated so much from his personal archive to raise funds for maintenance, repairs, and new equipment for the barns. This silent auction opens on March 6, 2026, at 7am and concludes on Saturday, March 15, at 5pm.
