Join printmaker Cesar Garcia for a hands-on linocut workshop where participants will learn the full process of creating their own printed fabric. The class will cover sketching and transferring a design onto linoleum, carving the block, and printing on fabric using fabric safe inks. Proper techniques for successful fabric printing will be demonstrated throughout the workshop.

No prior printmaking or drawing experience is necessary. Templates will be available for those who want guidance, and participants are also welcome to bring their own original ideas. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fabric to print on, including T shirts, tote bags, and other textiles. Fabric will also be available.

By the end of the workshop, each student will take home a piece of printed fabric featuring their design, ready to be used however they like, along with a few collaborative prints from fellow participants.

All materials included. Just bring your creativity.
