Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh my!
California State Parks are not just incredible destinations; they are places filled with stories worth remembering and preserving. Our October Maloof Guild presenter, Tawny Castillo, focused her most recent body of work on these parks and their stories. Castillo describes herself as a subtractive artist who reveals rather than builds up an image. Her work combines traditional and digital techniques including linocut, screen printing, gouache, colored pencil, stencils, cyanotype, and digital painting.
And while you may not find any lions and tigers in the parks, in Tawny’s artwork you will find beauty and creativity that you will long remember.
