Join artist Cesar Garcia for a hands-on Lino Cut Blind Embossed Printing workshop, where texture takes center stage. This immersive session explores the unique art of blind embossing, creating striking, three-dimensional images on paper without using ink.
You’ll begin by learning the fundamentals of linocut printing, including how to design and carve your own linoleum block. Then, guided by Cesar, you’ll discover how to transform your carved block into beautifully embossed prints by pressing the design into paper to reveal subtle, raised impressions that are as pleasing to the touch as they are to the eye.
Cesar provides step-by-step instruction, making this workshop ideal for all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned artists. By the end of the day, you'll leave with a collection of embossed works and a new appreciation for the expressive power of printmaking without ink.
Come ready to explore, create, and be inspired!
