Wild Watercolor Landscapes

Saturday September 27,  11am-2pm

No experience necessary

Discover the joy of abstract expression in this beginner-friendly watercolor workshop that celebrates creativity over realism. You will explore how to convey the feeling of a landscape through bold shapes, simplified forms, and thoughtful color choices rather than trying to paint a picture-perfect scene.

We begin with a series of warm-up studies, giving you the chance to experiment with techniques, color palettes, and compositions. These quick exercises are designed to build confidence and inspire playful exploration.

As the workshop unfolds, you will work toward a larger final piece, guided by principles of design like line, shape, color contrast, and balance. Whether you are inspired by nature or your imagination, you will learn how to create expressive, atmospheric landscapes with watercolor.  Come ready to loosen up, try something new, and unleash your creative spirit.
